The LDP S10 is the company’s first single side only sheetfed press. It features an inline coater and conventional drying section. This will be the first press expected to reach the market in less than a year from now, with carton printers the initial target market. The company’s efforts are focused on perfecting this machine before turning to smaller formats.
The Landa Digital Printing press is delayed because after feedback from Drupa, it was clear a complete rethink was needed. The vast touch screen control panel has been replaced with a more conventional cockpit control desk, though still with a touch screen interface. And the press has been made more accessible for operators to access the inside for maintenance and to replace components where necessary.
